Okay, so I’m planning on reading six books. Well, finishing three books, and then three new books.
My goal is to finish Hawaii by James A. Michener. It is a monster of a book with over 1,100 pages. I’ve barely started it, but it is so great. Michener’s writing is just so amazingly descriptive. He makes the thousands of years of island formation riveting, okay. I borrowed this book from a friend of my mom’s, and I’ve already had it for a month, so I really do need to read it.
Then I want to finish Ash by Malinda Lo, which shouldn’t take too long, as I’m already about halfway through. And I’m also reading Angelfall by Susan Ee. Which I’ve been reading for a long while now. I’m not super into it, but I want to finish it still.
One of my Goodreads groups is reading All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr, which I’m really excited to start. It’s freaking pretty, first of all, but it just sounds amazing and I’m excited for it, okay!? Then one of my groups April books was Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. I got the book about midway through April, and decided I’d just read it in May. I also want to read The Murder Complex by Lindsay Cummings, which I have as an eBook. I honestly don’t know much about it, and I think I bought it because it was one of the really good eBook deals. But it seems pretty cool, and maybe a bit scary?- so I’m going for it.
And those are the books I want to read in May. Between the six of them it’s about 3,000 pages. So, I’m excited for them.
